Good News

Got some quite good news. Not telling everybody yet, and we've suspected all week, but a + test today confirmed it. We're pregnant! What a great anniversary gift! Not much for symptoms except some tenderness and hunger. Trying to find a midwife and doc now. :)

More rides, more excitement

We got enough fuel (pellets) for the year, tried no-knead bread, it was wonderful. And, this "cycle" is a little late - maybe this is the one! Going to try again on sourdough - we'll see how it works out. I was counting on the weather turning colder so we'd have a good excuse to have it a little warmer in here, but we don't have that excuse. OH, got news that I may get a big job that'd be steady work thru the beginning of the year. That is certainly welcome news!!

Impossible

.... to not have a smile on your face while mountain biking. It's beautiful outside, fresh air, dodging trees, it's the best. Pics from a previous trip to the same location - didn't bring the camera this time, didn't bring the bikes that time in May. Great place to be during the spring and fall!! Ran into someone who had not been there before, and he had a smile that couldn't be removed with a sandblaster. So did we.

Busy is good

Went to Las Vegas to help a relative, had a great time, and it was surprisingly rejuvenating. Have one friend in a depressing work-related situation, but we'll try to keep her upbeat. Another friend is excited he's having a baby. I'm glad he's excited and ready to work at it! We'll see how our own attempts in that regard are doing in a few weeks. Hopeful! Hubby and I are going for a mountain bike ride tomorrow. Gotta get some good exercise, and now is the most beautiful time to do it. It's not too hot, the leaves are turning (one good thing about living at elevation, is there's a continual show of leaves - starting at the top and working its way down. Green yet in the valleys), and it won't be too dusty because it rained last week. I'll come back with tired lungs and legs!

Work and Fall

We get to work outside and build a new doghouse after our trip. Before the trip, we're happy that we're immensely busy and can bill some! I'm really thankful that I have such a wonderful husband. He's kind and loving and truly genuine. I tell him he's the greatest hubby on the planet, and I believe it.

Change of Season

Another reminder that fall is here and there's cool weather ahead. The temp dropped almost 10 degrees in the last hour, and there's a storm rolling in. Storms are fun, and we need the rain. Had a great time at Girl Scouts of Utah Camping for a Cause. Today I'm thankful for the good energy I've got and all those that are watching out for me. And I'm thankful for the massage I got Saturday, and the chance to rest and recharge!

Fall Colors

Today, I'm quite amazed at the fall colors out the window. I hope to add a pic in a bit. The far hills have big red splotches, and the near hills are orange, yellow, and red. So nice outside too! The car transaction went ok, albeit with a different car and dealer. The brother helped a lot. Still hopeful that they can fix what we require them to so that we can get this transaction finalized on Friday!

Hopeful...

Hoping the car transaction today goes well. We're going to get a car that will have a lot of warranty on it still! Something safer than the 94's to drive! That will be great!

Productive weekends and lots of work

Very glad to have lots of work to do this week. It wasn't so a few weeks ago. And very happy as well, to have had a relatively productive weekend. Found a car we might get, and that'd be good, and got more lumber stored in preparation for the winter and maybe even a garage door!

Just what happiness is going on?

Well, we have a great life. We can work from home, part time, and support ourselves. We've got a wonderful community we live in, we are involved in said community, we have a wonderful family, the list goes on. Here I will add to the list!
